The MTA held a Neighborhood Work Group meeting on the proposed Silver Spring Library, (Future) Dale Drive and Manchester Place stations on April 15, 2013. At this meeting, the MTA presented a briefing on the Purple Line project and an overview of the current plans for the proposed stations and neighboring communities, including Wayne Avenue. MTA answered questions and solicited general feedback. The MTA also outlined information about the Art-In-Transit Program. Below, you will find the map and complete presentation from this meeting.

At this meeting the MTA presented an overview of the current plans for the Manchester Place Station, explained what light rail stations are like and led detailed discussions about station issues such as community access.
