April 9, 2013The MTA held a Neighborhood Work Group meeting on the proposed University of Maryland-related stations including Adelphi/West Campus Station, Campus Center Station and East Campus Station on April 9, 2013. At this meeting, the MTA presented a briefing on the Purple Line project and an overview of the current plans for the proposed University of Maryland-related stations. April 30, 2012On April 30, 2012 the MTA held a Neighborhood Work Group meeting for the University of Maryland, including the West Campus, Campus Center, and East Campus stations, and the surrounding area. At this meeting the MTA presented new plans for the Purple Line alignment through the University of Maryland, including Campus Drive, explained what light rail stations are like, and led detailed discussions about station issues such as community access.
