The Maryland Department of Transportation announced $600,000 in new grants to support operations at 60 small businesses impacted by the construction of the Purple Line.

Governor Wes Moore made the third stop on his statewide “Delivering for Maryland” tour in Montgomery County. During his tour, the governor joined elected leaders and state transportation officials at the future Purple Line 16th Street – Woodside Station to install the final segment of rail.

The Maryland Department of Transportation Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) today announced that the U.S. Green Building Council has awarded LEED Silver certification to the newly constructed Purple Line Operations and Maintenance Facility located in Glenridge, Maryland.
