Crews placed the Capital Crescent Trail bridge truss over Rock Creek and the Rock Creek Trail in December. The bridge employs an inverted truss design, meaning support structures are hidden underneath the bridge instead of above in a traditional truss. This design was chosen to maintain sightlines along the creek, and it gives the bridge a unique look from below.
